Accommodation in suites with private bathrooms and air-conditioning (full comfort), piano lounge, boutique, pool, jacuzzi, café-bar, sun deck, medical clinic, room services, multilingual naturalist guide. The Galápagos Explorer II, is however, more than just a cruise liner. It is a vessel adapted to ecotourism operations that provides environmental education and interpretation on the Galapagos. Our expedition leader and his team of naturalist guides will offer lectures about the natural history of the archipielago, as well as guided visits to the islands.

- Classic Suites are located on the Magellan and Columbus decks, have three portholes and large walk-in closets. The suites average 215 sq. ft. in size.
- Premium Suites are located on the Marco Polo deck and are 215 sq. ft. in size. They feature three picture windows and two full length wardrobes.
- Deluxe Suites vary in size from 235 sq. ft. to 250 sq. ft. The suites on the Erickson decks have three large windows. NEW! Private Balcony on all DeluxeSuites
- Renaissance Panoramic Suites average 251 sq. ft. in size and are located on the Erickson deck. They have three picture windows and overlook the bow of the ship.
- Renaissance Balcony Suites on the Explorer deck offer the ultimate amenity: a private verandah.

Additional Information
This 100-passenger ship started cruising in 1999. Explorer II is extremely comfortable with large "Suites" (not cabins), large public areas including a outdoor dining area with pool and Jacuzzi, a sundeck for soaking up the sun and relaxing in between visits, a lounge and piano bar. There is a doctor on board. Naturalist guides are top-notch and help make your Galapagos experience a rewarding education in nature and wildlife. There is a naturalist room, where visitors can watch videos, read books, look at pictures and maps all related to the Galapagos Islands. One of the unique offerings the Explorer also provides is the opportunity for individuals to sit with one of the naturalists one-on-one to discuss anything visitors wish to know about the Galapagos. The Galapagos Explorer II is the only vessel in the islands to have one of the scientists from the Darwin Station travel during each departure. This is the most deluxe ship cruising the islands.
