Dutch built with teak decks in 1966 as a luxury private yacht, the Samba is now a perfectly well converted cruise boat specialized for Galapagos Islands vacations. The SAMBA accommodates 14 guests, a perfect number to enjoy the magic of the Islands with privacy and flexibility. Its professional, experienced and friendly crew and naturalist guide are devoted to go the extra mile to make your journey a trip of a life time. The upper deck with an outside dining area and sun protection is ideal for bird and marine life watching. On the main deck, an outside area with reading, resting and also eating space; and inside, there is a dining salon with library with TV/VCR and Stereo. Here is where briefings and conference-talks are given and planning about next day activities. Foredeck has enough space for sun bathing, dolphin watching or just to relax and observe marine life and the beautiful landscape of the islands. The ample and comfortable space on deck makes this boat ideal for nature and photography cruises.

Equipment: Twin DAF diesel engines 220 HP, twin generators 21 KW for 110 & 220 AC, 12 & 24 volt DC, Furuno radar, depth sounder,GPS, EPIRB, Life raft, VHS & SSB radios, 2 tenders & outboards, color TV, video equipment

Water: 1500 gallons plus water maker
Crew: Licensed High Seas Captain, mate, cook, mechanic, 1 sailor, Multilingual National Park licensed naturalist guide II or III

Please note that sailors use the motor engines to navigate. Sails are only used barely and are mainly a decorative item.

A charming 78 foot steel hulled motor yacht built in Holland as a private yacht in 1966. Holds 6 air conditioned double cabins each with hot/cold water shower and toilet in suite

Rate includes:  Accomodation in double cabin with private en-suite facilities, all meals on board, excursions to the islands with a naturalist English/Spanish bilingual guide

*Not included: Air ticket Quito – Galapagos – Quito US $495 (subject to change), alcoholic or extra drinks on board, tips and personal expenses, snorkelling equipment (available for rental on board)

Entrance fee to Galapagos $ 100 per person adults and $ 50 kids under 12 years old (to be paid in cash by all visitors upon arrival to the islands), Galapagos transit card $10 per person

Fuel surcharge (cost depends on lenght, departure date or cruiseship)
